Using the so-called Get S*** Done days regularly conducted by the Doctoral Researcher Council, we plan to hold our own version for our ECR retreat this summer.  What are Get S*** Done days? Think of them as a combination of collaborative, structured working times using a modified version of the Pomodoro Technique , where individuals work in focused intervals, take a break, and repeat. The rationale behind the technique is by using focused working sessions, individuals can focus on a single task for an allotted time period. We will have lunch together and go to a beer garden after the working sessions.
