Our Research

Our goal is to uncover the fundamental principles that underlie collective behaviour – in a range of organisms and across scales of organization – and to translate this knowledge into real-world solutions that will bring about positive impact worldwide. Our scholars from biology, computer science, social psychology, behavioural economics, sociology, physics, mathematics, philosophy, and educational science step beyond the comfort zones of their systems in order to work together to pursue this common goal. Breaking down barriers between subjects, species, and scales, our research revolutionizes the study of collective behaviour.
