Our Research

Our goal is to uncover the fundamental principles that underlie collective behaviour – in a range of organisms and across scales of organisation – and to translate this knowledge into real-world solutions that will bring about positive impact world wide. Our scholars from biology, physics, psychology, sociology, economics, computer science, and maths step beyond the comfort zones of their systems in order to work together to pursue this common goal. Breaking down barriers between subjects, species, and scales, our research is disrupting what it means to study collective behaviour.
