Application procedure

All students from South African Universities are eligible to apply. The course does not award credits/points towards BSc or Honors degree.

Thank you for your interest in the Collective Behaviour Field Course!

APPLICATION IS CLOSED!!

The Collective Behaviour Field Course is intended primarily for MSc students from South Africa interested in collective behaviour and behavioural ecology research. A maximum of 15 participants will be accepted. Applications from Honors and PhD students are welcome and will be evaluated on the basis of availability of free places.

Through the online application system, you will be asked to provide personal details, academic background, your CV, and a motivation letter that shows your interest in behavioural ecology and how you foresee the course to benefit your academic path.

The CASCB and the University of Konstanz are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. We specially encourage students from underrepresented and underprivileged minorities to apply.
