Meet the Cluster Community: Ann Sophie Lauterbach

1. Why are you interested in the study of inequality?

Because wherever there are opportunities, there are also inequalities in how those opportunities can be perceived and used by different people.

2. What are you working on?

I focus on inequalities in new work environments. In particular, I investigate how mobile and hybrid work affects the health and work-life balance of different employee groups.

3. Recent highlight?

The opportunity to continue my project work at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics.

4. Dream research project?

Conducting a huge panel study to track women’s career paths and identify subjective as well as objective factors for success.
