"Sensory ecology of collective behaviour" – Workshop to be held in person 25th-26th July, University of Konstanz.

This summer there are a few sensory ecologists in residence at the Zukunftskolleg and we thought it would be useful and interesting to explore the intersections between sensory ecology and collective behavior. With the support of the CASCB we have invited a number of experts in both fields from Germany and Switzerland, and we would like to extend the invite to those in-house who would like to participate. The workshop will include a mix of components, including 5 min lightning talks from participants and break-out group discussion and collaborative writing components. By the end of the two-day workshop, we hope to have begun drafting a prospective joint manuscript.
